CRG HOMECARE WOLVERHAMPTON RATED ‘GOOD’ FOLLOWING CQC INSPECTION

CRG Homecare Wolverhampton has been awarded a ‘good’ rating after undergoing an inspection by the Care Quality Commission.

The CQC, which is the independent regulator of health and social care services in England, published its report on 13th November, following an inspection between 7th and 10th October 2019.

The report deemed that the service offered by CRG Homecare Wolverhampton is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led, with the homecare provider receiving ‘good’ ratings against each of the criteria.

Samantha Callow, Branch Manager for CRG Homecare Wolverhampton, said: “We have a team of compassionate and hardworking care workers, so we are delighted that their efforts have been recognised by the CQC. Every day, our team goes the extra mile to provide exemplary home support in the local community, and we’re pleased with our rating – but we’re always looking for ways to continually improve our service offering.”

In the CQC report, service users praised the care workers for their kindness. One service user said: “I couldn’t have asked for more dedication from the carers – they greet me with a smile and excellent care given every day.”

The report also found that service users felt safe and secure with their care workers, who receive ongoing best practice training to ensure that they are providing the highest possible standards of care. There was also positive feedback about the management of the service, with service users stating that they felt staff were well-trained and treated them with respect.

Dianne Underwood, Director of Quality & Care at CRG Homecare, said: “This is the second inspection in a row that CRG Homecare Wolverhampton has received a ‘good’ rating, which truly shows the hard work and dedication that the team puts in to providing care in the community.

“We encourage each member of our team to become Dignity Champions – a campaign that focuses on raising awareness of dignity in care – and take part in charitable activities. We believe that it’s this compassion that makes our team unique. We also offer continuous professional development to keep improving the skills of all of our care workers.”

CRG Homecare is a domiciliary care, supported living and continuing homecare provider to individuals of all ages living within the comfort and security of their own homes, and is regulated by the CQC for this purpose.
