CRG Homecare’s Stoke branch has launched a new initiative to help those who have recently been discharged from hospital.
Care staff from the branch have donated items to put into hospital boxes and give to our service users once they return home from being in hospital.
Inside the box is shampoo, deodorant, bottles of water, tissues, comb, wipes, coffee, team, milk and flannels – essential items which people need once they return home.
Sue Noon, CRG Homecare’s Stoke Branch Manager, said: “We started to build the hospital boxes as it is nice for our service users to receive something when they come home. We fill the boxes with essential items so they can have a wash and a drink.
“So far our service users have been delighted with their boxes when they have returned home.”
