Ten members of the HCL Nursing and CRG Healthcare Staffing teams will be running 100 miles in seven days to raise money for Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead.
The challenge beginning on 18 May 2020 will see runners of mixed abilities, pounding the pavement in aid of the London branch of the charity, from all corners of the United Kingdom, from Essex to Manchester.
Marie Curie Hospice provide end-of-life care to people with cancer, and are a charity close to our heart since many of us have lost loved ones to the disease too soon. The charity rely solely on donations to fund operations, so it’s vitally important that they receive the support of their local communities and supporters.
The challenge will also bring together teams working across multiple locations, many of whom are still working out of their homes owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only supporting morale, but bringing teams together in spirit and boosting their mental health. Coincidentally, the 100 mile event begins and ends during Mental Health Awareness Week (which is being celebrated extensively by our sister brand HCL Mental Health).
HCL Nursing & CRG Healthcare Staffing have been providing nurses to Marie Curie Hampstead for a number of years – a relationship we are proud to serve and hope to continue long into the future.
The ten challengers include:
- Liam Maloney
- Peter Gordon
- Rhys Madams
- Zoe White
- Oskar Jurys
- Patrick Finnegan
- Jackie Brennan
- Pawel Katowski
- Tim Curtis
- Terence Craven
